The ever-popular Friends of Werribee Park Horse Trials took place last weekend, attracting some 600 entries over two days. 

The CNC3* class, which had nine entries, saw former Olympian Megan Jones ride Kirby Park Impress to victory, ahead of Murray Lamperd on Chocoholic and Nina Clarke aboard LP Boudin. Megan was second after the dressage, picked up 9.2 time penalties in the cross country and then jumped clear in the showjumping to secure first place. 

Simon Tainsh and Secret Liason topped a big field in the CNC2* class, while the CNC1* class was won by Delwyn Ogilvy and precious dreams.

There were big fields in the EvA classes. The EvA 105 was split; division one was won by Amy Slocombe and TP Arnie, division two was won by Naomi White and Adventure Time, and division three was won by Katelyn Thompson and Classic Censation. 

The EvA 95 was divided into five different sections, such was the number of entries. Division one was won by Lilly McGregor and Equissage Dynamic Knight, division two was won by Samantha Lizars and Lago Park Zeus, division three was won by Erin Callahan and Danson Lincoln, division four was won by Jenny Bowker and BMS Alexeah, and division five was won by Tania Harding and Jirrima Easyjet.

The EvA 80 saw the field split into six classes. Division one went to Amy Gotts-Wheeler and Longvue Halfmoon, division two was won by Juliana Brennan and ESB Irish Justice, division three was won by Hannah Bird and Gladiators Ghost, division four was won by Jane Salter and Benchmark Dolly, division five went to Shannon Kelly and Horatio, while division six was won by Samantha Christian and Dextrous Daisy.
