The Strzegom October Festival Horse Trials, which was held last weekend in Poland saw some fantastic results over the duration of the event. Australia was represented by Andrew Hoy and Katja Weimann in the CCI4*-L class. Andrew Hoy rode Vassily de Lassos and his relatively new ride, Bloom des Hauts Crets, while Katja Weimann rode 14-year-old gelding, BP Escapade.
Andrew Hoy finished in second and ninth place, with Vassily De Lassos and Bloom des Hauts Crets on scores of 38,00 and 54,20 respectively.
Katja Weimann and BP Escapade retired after the cross country.
First place in the CCI4*-L class was awarded to Britain’s Harry Meade, who was riding Superstition.
