The Tryon World Equestrian Games test event, held from the 19th of April to the 22nd was a success, with many notable results and achievement's.

The CDI3* consisted of three classes, with the Grand Prix, Grand Prix Freestyle and the Grand Prix Special.

Kasey Perry-Glass and her 15-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding Dublet were the champions of the Grand Prix class, with an impressive score of 73.935 per cent. Claiming second was Adrienne Lyle on her stunning Oldenburg mare Horizon, with a score of 71.957 per cent. Third place went to Belinda Trussell on Tattoo with a score of 70.043 per cent, with the pair hoping to secure a spot on Canada’s WEG team.

Karen Lipp and Whitney won the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle, with a total score of 69.765 per cent, with the win being their first Big Tour victory. Second place went to Geena S. Martin on her 13 year-old Hanoverian gelding, Bon Chance with a total score of 66.765 per cent, and third went to Abraham Pugh on Elfenperfekt with a total score of 66.615 per cent.
