If you’re looking to get your horse fix this weekend, there are plenty of options on offer around the country — starting with the Australian Dressage Championships at Boneo Park on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.

The event will see Australia’s top dressage riders go head to head, and there will also be masterclasses from British star Spencer Wilton and young horse specialist Simone Pearce.

In South Australia, Mt Gambier Ag Show kicks off today and continues throughout the weekend, while the Reynella Horse Trials are on offer for eventing enthusiasts.

To Queensland, and the Queensland Showjumping Club are holding an event at QSEC on Saturday, while Sunday will see a Chris Chugg clinic, the Pony Dressage State Championships, and dressage events run by Equestrian Gold Coast Club and Caboolture Dressage Club.

A big weekend in WA includes the Kelmscott Show, Kojonup Show, Brigadoon CNC, a dressage event hosted by Serpentine Horse & Pony Club, Gosnells Riding Club Show, a Southside Jump Club event, and Busselton H & PC Spring Dressage Day.

In Tasmania, the 2017 Australian Masters Games begins this weekend, and showjumping is making an appearance for riders over the age of 35. The Longford Show is also on, and includes showing and jumping classes.

Have a great weekend!
