Changes to Australian eventing team at CHIO Aachen

UK-based Australian eventer Bill Levett will join the Nations Cup team, with competition set to commence from 4 July.

There has been a late change to the Australian eventing team at CHIO Aachen in Germany, with Bill Levett and Sligo Candy Cane stepping in to replace Shane Rose and Easy Turn.

Equestrian Australia reported this morning that Shane Rose is unavailable.

Bill Levett and Sligo Candy Cane – a 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse by Sligo Candy Boy our of Castlemly Lass (Visa Aldatus Z) – were part of the Australian eventing team at CHIO Aachen in 2023.

Sammi Birch and Finduss PFB

Andrew Cooper and Sharvalley Thunder

Kevin McNab and Faro Imp

Bill Levett and Sligo Candy Cane

Chef d’Equipe: Stuart Tinney

Dressage (4 July, from 8.30am local time, 4.30pm AEST)

Jumping (4 July, from 6pm local time, 5 July 2.30am AEST)

Cross country (5 July, from 9.55am local time, 5.55pm AEST)
