Aussies Continue International Showjumping Success in Doha

Australian showjumpers have enjoyed strong success in Week 3 of the Doha Tour.
Amber Fuller and Nopal Van Tallaert (Diamant de Semilly x Pommeau du Heup) were one of only 4 combinations to jump clear in the first round of the CSI5*- Grand Prix 1.60m, placing 4th overall in the top class of the week.
A 7th in the CSI5* 1.50m on Thursday add to the combinations impressive results in the Tour, having already recorded a 7th place in the €200,000 CSI4* Grand Prix and 6th place in the CSI4* 1.50m.
Edwina Tops-Alexander also contested the CSI5* – 1.50m with 14 year old Fellow Castlefield (Je T’Aime Flamenco x Twister), placing 8th with 4 faults in the first round. Edwina also placed 6th and 8th on Corelli de Mies and Labantrix in the CSI5* Special Two-Phase – 1.40m on Thursday.
24 year old Amelia Douglas & 12 year old Quel Filou 16 (Qiwi Dream x Lerano 2) placed 4th in the CSI5* Jump Off – 1.50m on a time of 47.14. A new combination in 2023, they are already enjoying International success after securing a 4th in the Australian Senior Championships and 3rd in the Jumping NSW State Championships Senior Title Final last year.
