The start times are out for the Grand Prix Special at the Paris Olympics, with Australian Jayden Brown and Quincy B (Quaterback x St. Pr. Hauptstutbuch, by Desperados FRH) set to be the first down the centreline in the team medal decider.

The Australian Dressage team secured qualification for the Grand Prix Special on Wednesday following strong performances from all three riders.

Will Matthew and Mysterious Star (Metall x Fuerstin Lena, by Fürst Heinrich) produced a PB test of 69.953%, while Simone Pearce and Destano (Desperados FRH x Bella Navonna, by Brentano II) scored 70.171% to anchor the team on the second day of Grand Prix competition. Combined with Jayden Brown and Quincy B’s score from day one of 68.991%, the Australian team finished on a total of 209.115 to place tenth overall.

The top ten teams from the Grand Prix qualified for the Special and will ride in reverse order of this team ranking – meaning the Australians are the first to go in each rotation, while the top qualified German team will be the last to go.
