Emma Booth and Saimir have achieved their second Paris Paralympic qualifying score, posting 67.445% for 11th place in the CPEDI3* Grade III Grand Prix A at Kronenberg CPEDI, held at Peelbergen Equestrian Centre in the Netherlands.
The score means they now satisfy the Competition Criteria section of Australia’s Nomination Criteria for the Paris Paralympics, which requires two scores of 67%+ in the Grand Prix A or B test are two at events (CPEDI3* level or higher). It was also a PB score for the pair.
Emma and Saimir achieved their first Paris Paralympic qualifying score recently in Hagen, Germany, where they achieved 67%.
Fellow Aussies Melissa Cannon and Quentino 43 scored 66.325% for ninth place in the CPEDI3* Grade V Grand Prix A. In the CPEDI3* Grade IV Grand Prix A, Sharon Jarvis and Furst Crusador scored 65.463% for 11th, and Kylie Christian and Ivan Carlos scored 63.842% for 14th.
The Australian team finished a very close seventh place. Best of luck to Emma, Melissa, Sharon and Kylie as the Grand Prix B tests get underway Saturday!
