Cathrine and Rasmine Laudrup-Dufour shared the wonderful news yesterday (13 November) that they are expecting their first child together.

With an excited post, they announced, “A mini Laudrup-Dufour is cooking in Rasmines belly, and we are all sooo excited”, accompanied by heartwarming ultrasound photos.

Rasmine, a talented showjumper and daughter of football legend Brian Laudrup, married Olympian Cathrine in 2021. Together, they run a renowned training and sales yard in Fredensborg, Denmark, where they have built a life around horses and their shared passion for equestrian sport.

Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour is currently riding high in her career, with a recent victory on home soil at the FEI Dressage World Cup™ in Denmark. Partnered with Mount St John Freestyle, Cathrine set the crowd alight with her stunning performance, earning an impressive 88.965% in the Freestyle.

The result came off the back of their second in the Grand Prix and win in the Grand Prix Special at the Paris Olympics, helping the Danish team to secure team Silver.
