Kate Kyros and Chemistry win the CDI3* Grand Prix at Brisbane CDI

Day two of The Saddlefitter Brisbane CDI & Queensland Dressage Championships at Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC) delivered a spectacular showcase of dressage, promising an exciting weekend ahead.

Grand Prix CDI 3*

Leading the way in the prestigious CDI 3*, Kate Kyros and Chemistry claimed a stunning victory with an impressive score of 67.891%, marking a triumphant return to Australian soil after more than six months competing in the USA and Europe. Currently ranked fifth in the FEI Dressage World Youth Rankings – U25, today’s win signaled their successful senior debut.

1st – Kate Kyros / Chemistry (67.891%)
2nd – Tanisha Ryan / Prequel (67.391%)
3rd – Rozzie Ryan / Bronze Boy R (66.783%)

Intermediate I CDN OPEN

In the Intermediate I CDN OPEN, Matthew Lord and Remi Vigneron delivered a standout performance, securing first place with a leading score of 71.676%.

Intermediate II CDI-U25

In the Intermediate II CDI-U25, Maddison Vallender and Ronan R impressed the judges with a winning score of 66.676%, setting the standard for the under-25 competition.

Intermediate I CDN AOR

The Intermediate I CDN AOR saw a strong ride from Deborah Fulwood on Gwandalan Snowman, claiming the top spot with a score of 63.471%, while Kerri-Lee Ryder and TMH Bogart finished second.

Intermediate B CDN OPEN

It was a double victory day for Emma Flavelle-Watts, who took home the top spot in the Intermediate B CDN OPEN aboard Scarlatti Mio VSR, scoring 67.162%, and also securing a second-place finish with Rakete.

Young Rider Team Test CDI-Y

In the Young Rider Team Test CDI-Y, Tia Rose McKenzie and Franzisco RW shone, achieving a superb score of 69.000% to win the class, followed by Olivia Farrell and Big Fish in second.
