Kate Kyros has added an exciting young prospect to her stable with the purchase of Pharrell, a 2020 gelding by Kyton out of Dark Pleasure.

Bred by Stal Rom Vermunt, who also owns sire Kyton, Pharrell comes with an impressive young horse résumé. Kyton is currently competing at Grand Prix level with Emmelie Scholtens.

Pharrell has spent the past two years in training with Femke De Laat, who also trained Kate’s current stallion Intro K. As a five-year-old, Pharrell scored over 80 per cent in the Pavo Cup Final and was a semi-finalist in the Subli Cup, highlighting his quality and potential for the future.

“I’m looking forward to developing a partnership with the talented gelding and continuing to learn and progress together,” shares Kate with Equestrian life.
