When Larissa Tweedie started the Lara Tweedie brand with $10,000 and a baby four years ago, little did she know it would become the first equestrian brand in the world to release a range of Disney branded products.
“There was a rider who worked at Disney… she was engaged with my brand because of her interest in horses. She reached out and said, ‘I love what you’re doing with the brand, would you be interested in talking to Disney?’”
That was the end of 2023, and now Lara Tweedie has launched the Disney’s Frozen & Lara Tweedie collection – just in time for Christmas.

As Larissa explains, the Disney’s Frozen & Lara Tweedie collection celebrates the story of Frozen and the magic of Elsa, Anna and Olaf.
“I was inspired by the magic and fantasy of Frozen and wanted to create products that would fuel the imagination of young horse riders. I have treasured the opportunity to combine the wonder of Frozen with the beautiful bond that children and adults alike share with these incredible animals,” says Larissa.
Riders can now embark on pony adventures with their favourite characters from the movie. The Disney’s Frozen & Lara Tweedie equestrian collection centres around a dreamy, ombre orb print featuring the main characters of Elsa, Anna and Olaf. This brand new, equestrian collection features glossy satin saddle pads, tulle trimmed long sleeve riding tops and pom pom hat silks.
The storytelling of Frozen continues with a selection of knee-high riding socks for children and adults. The sock designs touch on key motion picture moments and recognise fan favourite characters including Nokk, the majestic Water Horse, Bruni the curious and cute Salamander and Sven, the Reindeer with a heart of gold.
Moana comes along for the ride
The characters from Frozen are not the only familiar faces appearing at Lara Tweedie, with the new Disney’s Moana 2 & Lara Tweedie riding socks bringing the adventure of Disney’s Moana 2 to horse lovers and riders all over Australia.
Riders can now imagine epic journeys, incredible discoveries and adventures in Oceania with Moana, Simea, Pua and Hei Hei. The Disney’s Moana 2 & Lara Tweedie riding sock designs for children and adults touch on key motion picture moments and recognise fan favourite characters including Pua, Moana’s cute and loyal pet pig, Hei Hei, Moana’s stowaway rooster, and Simea, Moana’s adoring and adorable little sister.
