Olympic Eventing individual silver medallist Chris Burton has announced that he and his family have plans to return home to Australia later this year.

Chris thrilled Australia with his performance aboard equine partner Shadow Man in Versailles and captured mainstream media attention with a hilarious tongue-in-cheek post event interview – now, he is looking forward to once again being based on home soil.

“We will be leaving England and heading home to Australia in December this year. We will be setting up in Goulburn NSW where we are looking forward to building our house and yard.”

Chris and wife Bek are looking forward to reestablishing themselves in Australian and are excited for what lies ahead. “We have an exciting business plan in the pipeline – watch this space!”
