The Swedish national jumping team squads for the remaining part of the year have been updated, with two notable combinations missing.
Henrik von Eckermann and King Edward (Edward x Feo de Lauzelle) are no longer in the Championship Squad, nor is Malin Baryard-Johnsson with H&M Indiana (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Animo’s Hallo).
“The riders have announced that the horses are not available for any more championships,” said national team captain Henrik Ankarcrona in an update published by the national federation. “It has been a fantastic era to have horses like this, riders and not least horse owners in the national team who have made these horses available to us. It has been an incredible journey and I feel great gratitude as a leader. We are continuously working to support the riders to produce future championship horses and we have many interesting horses that are already at a high level that will be exciting to follow.”

King Edward, 15, and H&M Indiana, 17, were part of the Swedish team that won gold at the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games and 2022 FEI World Championships. H&M Indiana was also part of the silver medal winning team at the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games.
Von Eckermann remains in the Championship Squad with another horse, Illiana, and is also in the A Squad with Minute Man.
