Werribee turned on the full force of winter today with sideways winds and a top temperature described by many as ‘yeah, very cold!’ for the official start of the star classes at Melbourne International Three Day Event (MI3DE).

The 2025 Melbourne International Three Day Event is off to a strong start at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, with Thursday’s program spotlighting the sport’s rising stars in the IRT Young Event Horse Championship.

Sisters Laura and Emma Hercules are looking forward to Melbourne International Three-Day Event this week with horses Paint A Squiggle and Ballahowe Wildside.

The stage is set for a thrilling 2025 Melbourne International 3 Day Event, taking place this week (5–9 June) at the picturesque Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre.

Twenty-year-old Evie Kamevaar is preparing to compete in both the CCI3*L and CCI2*L YR/J at Melbourne International Three-Day Event with horses Sahara Heat and MP Chevrolet.

Georgie Birrell is looking forward to Melbourne International Three-Day Event (5-9 June), where she is set to compete in the CCI2*L with Shire x Thoroughbred, GE Monaco.

Australian Kevin McNab has had a successful outing at Millstreet International Horse Trials in Ireland, winning the CCI4*-S and placing second in both the CCI3*-S and CCI2*-L.
