The international event invited Pony Club members from across the globe to demonstrate their equitation skills over a set course, judged on rider position, balance, effectiveness of aids, rhythm, and overall harmony between horse and rider. Unlike traditional jumping classes, the emphasis was on the rider’s technique and communication rather than the horse’s jumping ability — highlighting correct foundations, thoughtful riding and partnership.
Competing against strong international fields, Australian riders achieved excellent results across several height classes.
