Saturday afternoon’s FEI World Cup Qualifier drew a large field of 24 combinations, and it was Jamie Winning-Kermond who finished at the top of the rankings after two rounds of competition over the David Sheppard designed course. Jamie and mare Tulara Wat Colblensky (Colman), owned by Rachel Peel, were one of two double clears and produced the quickest second round time (48.28) to just pip Jennifer Wood and her gelding Ipod (Cassiago) (48.51).
Billy Raymont and Caprino were the quickest of those on four faults to place third (4/45.49), ahead of Josh Collins and Cornel (4/45.99), and Clem Smith riding Oaks Calypso (4/48.88).
Caboolture marks the third of ten legs in the current FEI World Cup season here in Australia, with Gemma Creighton winning the first two qualifiers.

It was a successful weekend for Yandoo Park, with Jamie Kermond winning the David Overton Memorial Cup Future Stars riding Shimona Fraid’s BSI Candyman (Candy De Nantuel) as the quickest of an impressive seven double clears in this class.
Gabi Chugg and mare CF Edelweiss (Emerald van’t Ruytershof x Clearway) took out the Mini Prix.
The Stal Tops Young Rider class went to Cody Tincknell and Numero Too (Numero Uno x Vivant), while Tanner Robinson and Digger (Dynamite Bay x Premier Des Hayettes) claimed the overall Junior Championship, and Annalise Cooper-Morgan won the Children’s Championship with Exman (Excites x Zoffany).
In the Amateur Tour, Airlie Robinson won the overall Championship riding Yalambi’s Corlandia (Corland x Contango II).
