A total of 50 promising dressage and show jumping horses found new owners, including many long-standing P.S.I. clients as well as numerous newcomers. The evening was expertly conducted by auctioneer Hendrik Schulze Rückamp, whose experience and precision once again played a crucial role in the auction’s success.
Chacoontilotta PS reaches €3.5 Million – The Star of the Evening
The fifth horse of the night delivered a historic moment: The six-year-old grey mare Chacoontilotta PS (by Chacoon Blue) not only surpassed the famed one-million mark, but soared to €3.5 million after an intense bidding duel. The daughter of the late Chacoon Blue had already made a name for herself internationally under Zascha Nygaard from Denamrk. With exceptional elasticity, technique and remarkable jumping instinct, she is considered an outstanding candidate for top-level sport.

Dressage: Jongleur leads the field at €1.9 Million
In the dressage collection, the black stallion Jongleur emerged as the top seller. The four-year-old son of Jameson RS2 out of a Samba Hit dam captivated the audience the moment he entered the ring. Modern, powerful and expressive, he embodies the qualities of a future international sport horse. The hammer fell at €1.9 million, with the successful bid going to Australia. Eurodressage has reported that the stallion has been purchased by the Haynes family for young rider Jasmine Haynes. Jasmine is currently based at P.S.I with her Under 25 Grand Prix horse Fan Fan 20 and is planning to travel to compete in Florida, USA for the upcoming season.
Further Highlights
The licensed stallion Neron (by Cornet Obolensky) sold for €825,000 to a buyer in the USA. Zauberflöte (by Zenon x San Amour), a three-quarter sister to last year’s P.S.I. highlight Zonik Black, also drew strong interest. She was purchased by buyers from the United Arab Emirates and will continue her training with Olympic champion Frederic Wandres – ideal conditions for a successful dressage career. With Fleur du Monde (by For Romance II x Totilas), Joseph Chu of Taiwan added his 13th P.S.I. horse to his string – a remarkable testament to the loyalty and trust of long-standing international clients. The four-year-old Bundeschampionate silver medalist New Balance OLD (by Bon Vivaldi) will be developed by Charlott-Maria Schürmann, continuing a story of success established with previous P.S.I. horses such as Dante’s Pearl and Zum Dank.
Premiere: Ponies included in the P.S.I Auction for the first time
For the first time in the 46-year history of P.S.I., two ponies were presented – with outstanding results. The hunter pony Best Buddy PS (by Best Boy) sold for €170,000 to the USA. The riding pony stallion Gold Design (by Golden Grey), presented by 12-year-old Lilly Kasselmann changed hands for €110,000.
Auction results 2025
The 46th P.S.I. Auction achieved a total turnover of €20,690,000. The average price for dressage horses was €320,208, the show jumping collection earned €500,192 on average. These figures once again underline the international appeal of Performance Sales International and the exceptional quality of this year’s collection.
CEO Florian Meyer zu Hartum expressed his great satisfaction with the auction results: “We saw fantastic bidding duels – new clients, young clients, spontaneous clients. Exactly what you hope for in a P.S.I. Auction. And the horses presented themselves exceptionally well.” On the top seller Chacoontilotta PS, he added: “An extraordinary mare. The successful bid came from a long-standing client from France who has purchased several top P.S.I. horses with great success. He is a true lover of mares – and when you love mares and have the opportunity, you simply must buy one like her. We are thrilled and grateful for his commitment.”
CEO Francois Kasselmann was equally delighted with the dressage results: “In the dressage collection we achieved an absolutely phenomenal outcome. A strong bidding duel between Poland, Australia and the United Arab Emirates – something you don’t see often. In the end, the horse went to Australia, to a rider who trains with us. It could not have been a better fit.”
