Shenae Lowings and Bold Venture win Tamworth CCI4*S

By Equestrian Life

Tamworth International One-Day Event took place over the weekend at the Australian Equine & Livestock Events Centre (AELEC), with more than 70 combinations taking part in the international classes.

In the CCI4*S class, it was Shenae Lowings and Bold Venture who emerged the winners. The pair were second after the dressage, and then added only cross country time penalties to their score to finish on 42.5. It was a very wet event, and Shenae’s 13.6 time faults was the second quickest cross country round of the class, with only fifth placed Andrew Cooper and Omega going quicker.

Second place went to Sam Lyle and BF Valour on 46, Gemma Tinney and Diabolo were third on 51.3, and Matthew Gaske was fourth with Bellhaven Cumbria on 52.7.

In the CCI3*S, Olivia Barton and Henrik APH finished at the top of the leaderboard on 45.4, with Shenae Lowings again finding success in this class to finish a close second with Dotti on 45.9. Rebel Morrow and Maximus Prime won the CCI2*S class.
