Teams Spectacular
“We are thrilled to introduce the Teams Spectacular class to the Divas Beverages Showcase of Showjumping!” says Jamie Kermond of Yandoo Equestrian Services, the team behind the event. “Team jumping events are still quite rare in Australia, making this an exceptional opportunity for both senior and young riders to gain valuable experience. Events like these play a crucial role in preparing riders who aspire to represent Australia on the international stage.
“The Teams Spectacular will feature a unique format: each team includes both a young rider and senior riders. Young riders will start by jumping a course set at 135cm, with a speed of 350 meters per minute. The course will then rise to 145cm, at a speed of 375 meters per minute, for the senior riders. Three out of four rounds will count towards each team’s total score. In the event of equal penalties, a thrilling jump-off between selected riders from each tied team will determine the winner.
“With a fully booked VIP area and a large enthusiastic crowd anticipated, there will undoubtedly be some excitement—and perhaps a few butterflies among the riders! Our ultimate goal is to see this event become a major success and eventually establish a competitive team-jumping league similar to those celebrated worldwide.

The story behind Showcase of Showjumping
Yandoo Equestrian Services started in 2008 and has developed its business as a first class equestrian facility, offering services such as agistment, schooling, coaching, buying and selling of horses.
From being involved in the sport on a business level it was evident Australia needed more quality shows. Fixtures that cater to professional riders and focus on maintaining a standard of footing, equipment and competition to provide the highest standard jumping, as well as building a larger spectator following.
Yandoo Equestrian Services’ goal is to encourage the general public to come along and enjoy a weekend of fun and leisure, while being entertained with the excitement and colour of the fast paced, action packed world of showjumping, just as happens in the United States and Europe.
It has been the ambition of the Winning family to create and grow such shows.
The first “Showcase of Showjumping” event was held in 2010 at the beautiful Highfields, one of Sydney Polo Club’s boutique polo fields in Richmond. After a nine-year hiatus, Showcase of Showjumping is back, and this time run by the younger generation
Jamie Winning Kermond, Jamie Kermond and a team of support just as dedicated as them to see it work.
Their vision is to keep building on the last for size, prestige and public attendance.
Welcome to Showscase of Showjumping!
