Equestrian Life’s Virtual Winter Dressage Series has recently had a new addition to the prize pool, which will be available to those who compete in two out of the three legs in the series!
 
The prize, is a Weekend Getaway for Two at the gorgeous Tannery, in Mudgee, New South Wales. This prize will be awarded to a rider who shows great ability, and who has a thorough understanding of the dressage principles. This rider, who will be chosen by Roger Fitzhardinge, Lyndal Oatley and Patrik Kittel, will have an in-depth knowledge of the movements, and will be able to complete their chosen test in a seamless and coherent manner.
 
Other prizes include virtual lessons with Australian Olympian, Lyndal Oatley and New Zealand Grand Prix rider, Vanessa Way. Each of these virtual lessons will be awarded separately, to two different riders who show determination and dedication to the sport. Preparation and presentation will also be included in the criteria, so don’t forget to look the part!
 
Other terrific prizes, which will be given out each month include a Boutique Equines gift voucher valued at $200, which will be awarded to the best presented combination over the series, as well as each month.

Weekend Getaway for Two
 
The winner of this prize will have the opportunity to go to a gorgeous Bed and Breakfast in Tannery, Mudgee, New South Wales, for two nights! The lovely holiday includes breakfast, wine and a private tasting at Craigmoor.

This prize, which is valued at over $500 can be easily be expanded to accommodate two other people at the Bed and Breakfast, for an extra $200.
 
This prize will be awarded to a rider who shows great ability, and who has a thorough understanding of the dressage principles. Roger Fitzhardinge will then select a winner after each leg. These three combinations' tests will then be sent to Olympic dressage stars, Lyndal Oatley and Patrik Kittel, who will watch the videos and select the final winner!
 
To be eligible for this prize, competitors must compete in at least two out of the three legs in the Virtual Winter Dressage Series
(*Please note that the cost of the two extra people is not included in the winery tour.)
 
Lunch for Two
 
This wonderful prize will be awarded to a combination who has the most potential to climb the grades to Grand Prix. The lucky recipient will have the opportunity to have a gorgeous lunch with one other person at the Deckhouse at Woolwich, as well as a tour of WOX11.
To be eligible for this prize, competitors must compete in at least two out of the three legs in the Virtual Winter Dressage Series

A Mixed Dozen Box of Wine

This prize will be griven to the rider who has the horse that shows the most potential to climb the grades to Grand Prix. This prize is eligible to those who compete in at least two out of the three legs in the Virtual Winter Dressage Series
 
Virtual dressage lessons with Lyndal Oatley and Vanessa Way.
 
Roger Fitzhardinge will be selecting one rider at the end of each leg to have a virtual dressage lesson with Australian Olympian, Lyndal Oatley. This prize will be awarded to a rider that demonstrates great ability, and to someone who possesses a thorough understanding of the various dressage principles.
 
Roger will also be selecting the best performed pony and rider combintation at the end of the Virtual Winter Dressage Series, who has demonstrated this across at least two of the three legs, to win the opportunity to have a virtual dressage lesson with Grand Prix dressage star, Vanessa Way.

(*Please note that the riders selected will be given the opportunity to receive a virtual dressage lesson with one of the dressage stars, not both.)

The first leg of Equestrian Life’s Virtual Winter Dressage Series closes on the 7th of July 2020. If you would like to compete, please register and submit your video prior to this date.

These prizes will be awarded individually to one lucky rider, at the end of each leg.
 
Zilco International:
 
Zilco International have kindly agreed to sponsor the second and third leg of Equestrian Life’s Virtual Winter Dressage Series, by awarding the most likely pony combination  to reach the FEI level with a Sperguard Combo Rug, and the runner up combination with a pair of WoofWear Club Brushing Boots.

Equestrian Life’s Virtual Winter Dressage Series is a three-legged series, with many prizes allocated to winners of each leg, as well as to those who win the overall series.
 
    •    June - July entries close 7th July (Winter Series Leg 1)
    •    August entries close 6th August (Winter Series Leg 1)
    •    September entries close 6th September (Winter Series Leg 3)
