The Sydney 3DE is off and running with the dressage phase taking place today.

Amanda Ross and Koko Popping Candy lead the CCI3* with a score of 27.20. Currently in second place is Christine Bates and Adelaide Hill (27.60), followed by Emma Bishop and CP Issey Miyake (28.90) in third. The field is tight, with 14 of the 17 starters posting scores under 40, and the other three posting scores in the low 40s — tomorrow’s cross country will be a nail-biter!

Tom Boland on the stunning Napoleon leads the CCI2* on 31.20 from Stephanie Bender on Pluto Mio (32.50). Tim also leads the CCI1* on Menlo Park with a great score of 25.70.

The CNC3* saw Shane Rose take the lead on Virgil with 30.40; Shane and Virgil won the recent Camden Equestriad CIC3* event and are in great form. Shane is also sitting sixth in the CCI3* with his younger horse Swiper. Second currently in the CNC3* is Emma Mason and Warrego Marco Polo.

The CNC2* leader is Gemma Tinney and Annapurna on 30.60, from Amanda Ross and RLE Poynstown Will on 31.70.
