Week seven at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Florida saw World Cup competitors in action in the Grand Prix CDI-W events.
In the Grand Prix (qualifier for the Freestyle), Kasey Perry-Glass of the USA and Goerklintgaards Dublet, a 16-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding by Diamond Hit owned by Diane Perry, scored 77.217% to win the test. Second place went to Sweden’s Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén and Don Auriello on 73.804%, while Shelly Francis and Danilo of the USA were third on 72.152%. All big scores!
The same order of results was replicated in the CDI-W Freestyle. This time, Kasey and Dublet scored a huge 83.425%, Tinne and Don Auriello scored 80.950%, and Shelly and Danilo scored 80.050%. Very strong performances for all three. Kasey’s winning freestyle music was from “Lord of the Rings”; it was composed by Tom Hunt, and the choreography was arranged by fellow 2018 WEG teammate, Adrienne Lyle.
In other classes, the CDI3* Grand Prix and the Special went to Charlotte Jorst and Kastels Nintendo on 71.891% and 72.255% respectively.
