The talented 16-year-old black mare will unfortunately not be making an appearance at this year’s Burghley Horse Trials.

A statement on the Team Price facebook page read, “Our incredible Classic Moet will sadly miss The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials this year. Whilst flying around the festival of British Eventing cross country at Gatcombe Park and winning the British Open, she picked up a tiny puncture wound to her knee which  required surgery to flush the joint. Of course hugely disappointing for her owner Trisha Rickards, myself and the team, – Burghley is made for her! But after ’17 Otis duties and ’18 WEG duties, the stars have not aligned once again! Bring on Badminton horse Trials in the Spring and the rest of the 2020 season!”

The event, which commences on the 5th of September will see many top eventing combinations compete.

Aussies competing at the event include Isabel English and Feldale Mouse, Bill Levett and Lassban Diamond Lift, Chris Burton and Polystar I and Dominic Schramm and Bolytair B.
