Grace Kay and Celerity Park Faberge have only just stepped up to 4* level after enjoying plenty of success at 2* and 3*, and they are certainly impressing so far! The pair scored 78.65% in their dressage test to finish the day on 21.4 penalties and sit atop the leaderboard. Now that is a seriously good penalty score in a 4* – and they have a rail in hand!

In second place currently is Shane Rose and the mare Easy Turn; the pair scored 74.17% for 25.8 penalties. Gemma Tinney and the grey Wanda, who was formerly ridden by her father Stuart, are in third place on 27.50 (72.51%). In fourth is three time Adelaide 5* winners Hazel Shannon and Willingapark Clifford on 28.6 (71.36%), while Jessica Rae fills the next two spots with Rascal (29.2) and Fifth Avenue (32.6) respectively.

This year, long term Tamworth International Eventing supporters and official event photographers Oz Shotz are sponsors of the CCI4*-S class.

With the top five all under 30 penalties, the showjumping and cross country phases will be thrilling to follow – stay tuned!
