The organisers of Les Etoiles de Pau CCI5* have confirmed that from 21st to 25th October, the Domaine de Sers in Pau, France will host 2020’s first and only CCI5* event.

After several work meetings and discussions with Pascal Sayous, President of the 5 Etoiles de Pau and Managing Director of Centaure Events, proposals for managing the influx of visitors have been approved.

In addition to the CCI5* eventing, the event which is now in 30th year, will include carriage driving classes.

Spectators will be able to enter the grounds, however numbers will be limited to 5,000 at any one time in the event arenas and the exhibitors’ village. Visitors will have to comply with the health regulations issued by the Prefecture, which means that face masks are compulsory everywhere at the venue.

All of the current health regulations will soon be published on the mobile App for the event.

“So, masks at the ready then, to come and support this year’s event and, by doing so, the different equestrian and eventing disciplines that have borne the brunt of the crisis this year!

“A big thank you to our institutional partners and our exhibitors, who have faith in us and have stepped up once again to support the event this year.

“A special mention goes to all the volunteers from Pau Events – both the youngsters and those who have seen many an edition go by – who are still there to pitch in and help” stated Pascal Sayous. “Together, we are going to make this event a wonderful celebration to showcase the 30th edition”.

More information can be found on the event website.
