William Matthew wins national Grand Prix with Belantis 7

Australian dressage rider William Matthew has won a Kl. S*** Grand Prix in Rhede, Germany, with Belantis 7 (Benetton Dream x Expo’se x Sandro Hit), scoring 69.433%.

The pair scored 70.1% from the judge at H, 69.3% from the judge at C, and 68.9% from the judge at M.

Belantis 7 is owned by Madeleine Winter-Schulze and was formerly ridden by Isabell Werth, before Matthew was offered the ride.

William and the grey stallion have competed once at international level in the CDI4* at Aachen in September, where they scored 68.174% in the Grand Prix and 65.085% in the Special. Back in May, they contested a national event at Troisdorf, winning the  Short Grand Prix test with 71.434%.
