David Middleton wins Ballarat CCI4*S
The Friends of Ballarat Eventing Association International Horse Trials took place over the weekend, with David Middleton and WEC In The Money taking out the CCI4*-S class on a score of 37.8.
The pair were eighth after the dressage on 36.6, before adding just 1.2 cross country time penalties to theirt score. Second place went to Sophia Hill and Humble Glory, an off the track Thoroughbred (40), while third went to Sarah Clark and LV Balou Jeanz (44.2).
Edward Darby riding Dawn of the Day won the CCI3*-S on 35.4, with Georgia Tivendale finishing second aboard Star Allure (36.3) and Lily Wickenden was third with Fuerst Sensation (38.8).
The CCI2*S class went to Sheridan Wilson and Patanga Lodge Mercury with a score of 33.1. Tahlia Pursell and Astro NZPH were second (34.7) while Leesa Clausing and Willtony Gernett were third (35).
