Eventers prepare for Pau

A star-studded field is set to compete at Pau CCI5* in France from 27-30 October. There will be 47 (riders) and 51 (horses) at the start of the 32nd edition of the event, with 11 nations represented.

These are some of the largest numbers in the history of the competition! The public will have the chance to admire a high level British delegation, both in number and quality, with the presence of the reigning Olympic, World and European Champion Ros Canter and her compatriot, Tom McEwen, a double Olympic medallist in Tokyo.

On the French side, the eight representatives will be keen to make up for their World Championship results; they will be led by former winners Nicolas Touzaint and Maxime Livio.

The icing on the cake is NZ rider Jonelle Price, a loyal member of the event and currently the world number 2.

And of course, for Australian eventing fans, Tokyo Olympic team silver medallist Kevin McNab will be lining up with Willunga. Equestrian Life wishes Kevin the best of luck!
