By Equestrian Life

Following Tim Price’s victory last year, it was wife Jonelle’s time to shine at the Pau CCI5* in France. Jonelle claimed the win riding Grappa Nera, an 11-year-old black KWPN mare by Karandasj and out of Cetonette by Babalouba and owned by the The Grape Syndicate in conjunction with Jonelle.

Jonelle and Grappa Nera added just 1.2 cross country time penalties to their dressage score to finish on 31.3

Second place went to France’s Karim Florent Laghoua riding Triton Fontaine (31.8) while Great Britain’s Hector Payne was third with Dynasty on 32.5.

Australian Kevin McNab finished in 19th with Willunga on 62.9 following some cross country time faults and two rails on the final day.
