Victorian Dressage Festival wraps up at Werribee

The Stable Ground Victorian Dressage Festival wrapped up on Sunday, with a number of outstanding performances and impressive scores across the levels.
Jessica Dertell and Cennin win Victorian Dressage Festival Grand Prix Freestyle.
Mary Hanna and Ivanhoe win Victorian Dressage Festival Grand Prix.
Karen Blythe and Sonic K produced a fantastic test in the FEI Inter I Freestyle to score 76.192% and claim the win in a competitive field, ahead of Rozzie Ryan and MSJ Nemo in second on 72.767% and Fiona Smith riding Bluefields De Noir in third on 71.983%.
The FEI Inter A/B Freestyle went to Jackson Stern and Templeton Fursteniro on 67.617%, while the Pony Inter I Freestyle went to Bella Plumridge and Illawong Harvest Moon, scoring 67%.
Lucy Cochrane and Keystone Fantasy scored 76.392% to win the FEI Young Riders Individual Tes, while the FEI Children Individual Test went to Aisha Heinrich and Bertone S on 72.847%.
In the Medium classes, the 4.2 and 4.3 went to Michelle Baker and the Germany Riding Pony stallion Movie Star, with impressive scores of 72.838% and 76.603%.
The Novice 2.2 went to Antony Bartlett and Vittorio VDS, and the 2.3 went to Jacqueline Librio and Hollands Bend Finest Hour on 72.714%, while the Pony Novice 2.2 and 2.3 went to Jayde Whitehead and Stop N Stare, with scores of 73.125% and 72.215%.
Congratulations to all competitors, and also to Event Director Lizzy Schirmer and all involved in running the Stable Ground Victorian Dressage Festival – another fabulous event and a great end to the 2023 competition year for Victorian dressage riders!
