The Albury Wodonga International Horse Trials, which was held last weekend saw some outstanding performances in a range of classes. The anticipated event was expected to have over 400 entries, and was deemed a big success!
The Albury Wodonga International Horse Trials is one of only three FEI lead up events to the prestigious 5* in Adelaide, which is rapidly approaching! The horse trials are a fantastic opportunity for local and amateur riders to compete against some of Australia’s leading combinations, which is an invaluable experience for any eventing combination.
The winner of the Blacklocks Isuzu Ute CCI4*-S class was awarded to Andrew Cooper and Riverbreeze, who won with a final winning score of 34.50. Second place was awarded to Megan Jones and Kirby Park Impress, with a final score of 40.40. Sam Lyle and BF Valour landed in third place in the CCI4*-S, with a final score of 40.80.
Grace Kay and Celerity Park Faberge were the winners of the Blacklocks Jaguar Landrover CCI3*-S class, with a score of 25.30. Second place was awarded to Andrew Barnett and Go Tosca, with a score of 25.90. Third place was awarded to Shane Lowings and Bold Venture, with a score of 26.10.
