The Australian ‘Green’ Senior team is leading this year’s Oceania Championships which is being hosted at the Melbourne International 3 Day Event.
So far, the ‘Green’ team has collected a total of 102.5 points and has overtaken the Australian ‘Gold’ team which had been leading after Dressage. Currently in third place is the New Zealand team on 112.8 points. But that can all change as the teams head into the Showjumping round tomorrow.
For individual placings in the 2022 Oceania Championships, Shane Rose and Easy Turn are in the lead with only 29.1 penalties. Sitting in second place is Lauren Browne on Sky’s da Limit on 34.6, and third place is currently held by Jessica Rae and Fifth Avenue on 38.8.
In the Melbourne International 3 Day Event, the CCI4*-S is being led by Shane Rose and Virgil with 36.5 penalties. Shane is also currenlty in second on Be My Daisy with 42.4 penalties, and Jessica Rae and Rascal is sitting in third place on a straight 45.
In the CCI4*-L, Shenae Lowings and her OTTB Bold Venture had a great run on Cross Country to end with an incredibly low score of 24.9! Shane Rose is again in the running for a placing on Easy Turn with 29.1 penalties after XC. But Emma Bishop and CP Issey Miyake are snapping at their heels on 29.4 currently placing them in third.
