Andrew Hoy & Vassily de Lassos win Marbach CCI4*L

By Equestrian Life

Andrew Hoy and Vassily de Lassos have won the CCI4*L in Marbach, Germany adding just 0.4 of a cross country time fault to their dressage score to finish on 31.

“What an incredible weekend it has been at Marbach, and I am just so very grateful, so thankful, so humbled – whatever the right words might be – to my amazing partner Vassily,” said Andrew via social media following the win.

“Our partnership has grown day by day for over seven years now and we both can always rely on one another. I have got his back – and he has mine. He knows me inside out, and I know him inside out – with all our quirks, our individual personalities and what makes us ‘tick’.

“To me, the goal in any partnership between horse and rider can be described in one word: harmony.”

Fellow Australian Isabel English finished in fourth place with Cil Dara Dallas on 47.7.
