Andrew Hoy well placed ahead of cross country at Aachen

Australian Olympians Andrew Hoy and Vassily de Lassos are well placed in the CCI4*S eventing at CHIO Aachen, currently sitting in ninth place following yesterday’s dressage and jumping phases.

The pair scored 30.10 to be 16th after the dressage, before jumping clear to rise up the leaderboard.

The cross country phase takes place today from 9.30am local time, 5.30pm AEST. We wish Andrew and Vassily the best of luck!

Michael Jung of Germany and Fischerchipmunk FRH lead the field, with 22.2 being the score to beat.
