2021 Sydney 3DE to include FEI Eventing and Para-dressage classes

Entries are now open for the 2021 Sydney International Three Day Event, which will run from the 6th – 9th May at Sydney International Equestrian Centre. The event is the penultimate qualification event on Australian soil in the lead up to the Tokyo Olympics.

The event will include both Long Format and Short Format classes at International CCI4*, CCI3* and CCI2* level, in addition to a CCN4.5*-L TOKYO class. In this class, the show jumping phase will be at the 1.30m height. In addition to the FEI level classes, national classes will run from EvA60 to CCN1* level across the weekend, while Young Event Horse classes will take place on the Friday.

The event also includes a Para-dressage program, which will include classes from Grade I to Grade V. This will be the final Paralympic selection event in Australia.

Sydney 3DE is Australia’s oldest Three Day Event, established in 1957 and originally conducted in Sydney’s Centennial Park before moving to Worrigee and later, Lochinvar.
