Australian Kate Kyros has finished on the podium on the first day of action at Olomouc CDI in the Czech Republic, placing third with Intro K in the CDI-Y Team test on a score of 69.853%.

The pair received 70.294% (E), 70.588% (C), and 68.676% (M), to end up less than one percent away from the first-placed combination from Austria, Florentina Jöbstl and Bodyguard 49 (70.637%).

Kate also finished second in the CDI-U25 Inter II with Chemistry on 62.402%.

Held at the Equine Sport Center, Olomouc CDI features FEI events from Pony, Children and Young Horse classes through to a World Cup qualifier, promising an action-packed weekend. 

In addition to Kate, fellow Australian Jessica Dertell is competing with Cennin in the CDI-W World Cup classes – beginning with the CDI-W Grand Prix on Friday where they are the last to go in the draw.
