A busy weekend for Lyndal Oatley in Compiègne
By Equestrian Life
Australian dressage rider Lyndal Oatley has stepped out at one of the premier events on the international dressage calendar, the Internationaux de dressage de Compiègne, riding three horses with success.
Lyndal rode her up and coming Small Tour star Dante’s Herzchen to a score of 71.441% in the CDI2* Prix St Georges to claim victory, while in the Inter I they placed second on 71.667% — only narrowly beaten by the Netherlands’ Seth Boschman and Flora De Mariposa RS2 OLD on 72.892%.
Dante’s Herzchen, by Dante Weltino out of Herzchen by Hochadel, was purchased from Santiago Damil and joined Lyndal’s team mid-last year. You can read more about the mare in the March issue of Equestrian Life.
Lyndal also competed her two Grand Prix horses, Eros and Elvive — both of whom are already qualified for possible Australian team selection for the FEI World Championships in August.
