Aussie para dressage rider Amelia White has won at her first outing post-covid in Germany with the lovely Genius 116!
The pair competed in the able bodied M* National class (Medium level) at Datteln, and scored 73% to win from a big field. It was Amelia’s first win in Germany.
“First post-Corona lockdown competition today and we won! A very, very early start at 3:30am and a lot of rain but I am so very proud of Genius. The hard work is paying off immensely and we were rewarded with a 73% for 1st place to lead the class from the start. This is my first win in Germany and unfortunately there is no prize giving due to the restrictions, but I’m so happy!” said Amelia via Facebook.
“Thank as always to my immense support team, for everyone who has messaged me around the globe and for those in Australia who don’t sleep because they’re so nervous for me! Also to my wonderful team of sponsors – I can’t do it without you!”
