By Equestrian Life

The Australian Olympic combination of Andrew Hoy and Vassily de Lassos have enjoyed a successful outing at Marbach in Germany, finishing second of more than 60 competitors in the CCI4*S class on their dressage score of 29.1.

Andrew and 13-year-old Vassily were 10th after the dressage and 8th after the show jumping, before they produced the fastest cross country round of the day to be the only combination to complete the course sans time penalties. Even the class winner, Michael Jung and Highlighter, added 0.8 time faults to their score – ultimately finishing on 26.5. Sandra Auffarth finished third with Rosveel on 31.9.

Congratulations Andrew, Vassily and owners Paula and David Evans!
