Driving Valkenswaard International, and event run by Boyd Exell and his team, has concluded in the Netherlands – and it was Boyd himself who took out the four-in-hand championship.

Boyd and his team lead after the dressage, finished third in the marathon and then second in the final cones phase; their overall score saw them finish at the top of the leaderboard on 147.61, well clear of Ijsbrand Chardon on 163.26 in second. Fellow Aussie Elizabeth Lawrence finished in 24th place.

In the pairs event, Aussie dressage rider-turned-driver Tor Van Den Berge produced an outstanding performance to finish in 14th place from over 40 competitors. Tor and his team achieved a total score of 179.8. The winner was Theo Timmerman of the Netherlands on a score of 155.14

The Australian team finished in 5th place overall. Go Aussies!
