Christine Bates & Adelaide Hill win CCI3* at Sydney 3DE

There was a change in the CCI3* leaderboard on the final day, with Christine Bates and Adelaide Hill jumping clear in the showjumping to win the class on 35.20. Also jumping clear and finishing in second place was Robert Palm and Koko Story just a further 0.30 penalties away. Emma Bishop and CP Issey Miyake had two rails down to finish third, while overnight leaders Amanda Ross and Koko Popping Candy had three rails down to finish in fourth.

Shane Rose and Virgil continued their recent success by winning the CNC3* on 40.80 from Olivia Barton and APH Bertie Bad on 52.70.

In the CCI2*, it was Tim Boland and Napoleon who finished on their dressage score of 31.20 for the win, while the CNC2* went to Sam Lyle and BF Valour on 36.40.

Tom Boland’s success continued in the CCI1* with a win on Menlo Park; the pair finished on 29.70 penalties.
