Driving Valkenswaard International (DVI), the event run by Australian Boyd Exell and his team, is underway in the Netherlands.

An event that has now run for the past few years, it sees the best driving competitors from across Europe attend to contest the main classes: the CAIO4* team of four class and the CAI3* pairs class.

Following the dressage phase in the pairs event, Aussie Tor Van Den Berge (with horses Flavian and Heineken) is in second place behind Germany’s Lars Schwitte. Tor, who is from Queensland but currently resides at Valkenswaard with Boyd and his team, has a strong background in Grand Prix dressage.

Boyd Exell and fellow Aussie Elizabeth Lawrence will compete in the team of four event, which is yet to begin.
