Jumping Victoria State Titles get underway at Werribee
The Cavalor 2022 Jumping Victoria State Titles commenced Thursday at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, with the state’s best jumpers hoping to claim one of prestigious titles on offer.
The first round of the Senior series went to Ally Lamb and Eagle Rock, who recorded the quickest time ahead of Andrew Lamb and Spartava DP, and James Paterson-Robinson on Equador MVNZ.
Imogen Lindh and Nightwish won round 1 of the Children’s series, Tilly Fair and Bella Bonita claimed round 1 of the Junior series, and Lorna Reilly won round 1 of the Young Rider series riding Bellhaven Jazz.
Round 1 of the Mini Prix series went to Russell Morrison and C.E. Cajun, while the Future Stars class was won by Jamie Winning-Kermond and Yandoo Honolulu.
Louise Abey and Sail On By lead the Off The Track Series, while Taliah Daniels and Lamperds Stella lead the Amateur series.
Competition continues today and across the weekend, with the series title winners decided Saturday and Sunday.
