Kate Kyros has completed her first international dressage event in Europe with another placing on the final day of competition at Olomouc CDI.

Partnered with stallion Intro K, Kate finished second in the CDI-Y Freestyle on a score of 72.550%. They were just 0.033% behind the first-placed combination from Austria, Florentina Jöbstl and stallion Bodyguard 49.

The placing caps off a successful event for Kate and Intro K at the Equine Sports Center Olomouc in the Czech Republic, where earlier they finished third in both the CDI-Y Team test and CDI-Y Individual test with scores of 69.853% and 69.657% respectively.

Earlier at Olomouc CDI, Kate also enjoyed success in the CDI-U25 classes with Chemistry, while Jessica Dertell competed in the CDI-W Big Tour (World Cup qualifier) with Cennin to finish fifth and sixth in the Grand Prix Freestyle respectively.

Congratulations to both riders on a great event!
