With a quick hand round and only a few seconds over the allowed time, Tim Price (NZL) and Ascona M (27.80) were able to top the Longines CCI5 * -L. In second and third place, immaculate off-road circuits with no time and obstacle errors will see Alexander Bragg (GBR) with Zagreb (29.70) and Sarah Bullimore (GBR) with Reve du Rouet (32.10).
Ascona M flew with her New Zealand rider Tim Price almost through the Westergellerser Heide and showed during the course no uncertainties: “The mare is a real fighter. Although she is still a little inexperienced at this level, she understood the tasks right away and enjoyed riding. She gave me a fantastic feeling and was fully focused in just the right moments. As complicated as she can sometimes be in everyday intercourse, she is so focused in the field when it matters. She was actually my wife’s horse, but then grew more and more – and so I’ve always dared to push forward and allowed to ride her since Jonelle’s pregnancy. ” ? ?
As the third starter of the day, Alexander Bragg and Zagreb embarked on the technically demanding course and completed the course confidently within the allowed time. Bragg also benefited from his riding wife. The skilled blacksmith originally played rugby and started riding his wife’s versatility. The Briton was full of praise for his horse “Zagreb is always one hundred percent and has become so constant, I just have to do everything right, then nothing can go wrong. If you’re one of the front runners on the track, you have to put a bit of pressure on the following starters and not make it look too easy. The ground was fantastic and only a bit deep in the woods. Big compliment to all diligent helpers behind the scenes, which allowed us riders despite the rain these great conditions. Unimaginable, what the organizers have done in the short time. “
The first clear round of the day showed Sarah Bullimore (GBR) with her experienced Reve du Rouet (32.10) and moved from 10th place after the dressage to third place after the terrain: “My horse feels very much the whole week probably here in Luhmühlen and has gone phenomenal today. It can be quite difficult, but meanwhile I can read it very well – we have met very well in the last twelve years. With him, the terrain felt very simple, he really deserves to be so high on the results list. ” ? ?The German flag holds Andreas Ostholt up with a safe hand round. He is currently ranked 12th (42.40) before the final day of the jump and was very satisfied with his ride: “I did not want to risk too much and I’m glad that I managed this safety ? round .”
