Scone Polo International win opening match in Argentina

The 58th Abierto del Jockey Club Copa Thai Polo Cup is underway in San Isidro, Argentina, with Scone Polo International returning to defend their title.

On Friday, Scone took on Cañuelas in their first match, winning 16-9. Scone’s team for the tournament is comprised of Camilo Castagnola (10-goal handicap), David Paradice (0), Adolfo Cambiaso Jr. (10), and Bartolomé Castagnola Jr. (10), for a total handicap of 30 goals; the Abierto del Jockey Club Copa Thai Polo Cup is 22 to 30-goal tournament.

Following a rain delay, the tournament will continue on Monday September 18, with the match between La Ensenada and Scone due at 3pm (4am Tuesday AEST). You can catch all the action via Pololine TV and view fixtures and results from the tournament here.
