Show jumpers shine at DJWTS

Show jumpers were out in force at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre over the weekend for P.S.I. Dressage & Jumping With The Stars, the country’s premier multi-discipline young horse events.
Jumping stars of the future took to the turf arenas, with champions crowned across each of the four age classes.
The 4YO Championship went to Tulara Ziniero, ridden by Sophia Hill. Tulara Ziniero is a stunning grey stallion is by Zinedream out of a Companiero mare and is owned by Sophia in conjunction with breeders Mark and Anna Fraser.
The 5YO Championship went to Diamond B Franklin, owned and ridden by Ally Lamb. Diamond B Franklin is a chestnut gelding by Emerald Van T Ruytershof out of a Conquistador mare, and bred of course by Diamond B Farm.
The 6YO Championship went to Blue Balou PS, ridden by Billy Raymont and owned by Billy in conjunction with Janelle Whalley and Jacinta Kinsella. Blue Balou PS is a bay stallion by Action Blue out of a Chacco-Blue mare.

The 7YO Championship went to the grey mare Bonita, ridden by Phillip Lever. Bonita is owned by Jessica Pateman and was bred by the Barton Family, by Balou De Rouet out of an Alondra mare. Bonita was ultimately crowned the Young Jumping Horse Champion of Champions for 2023.
In other classes, Tom McDermott won the FEI World Cup Qualifier riding Cooley Gangster (Sligo Candy Boy x Crusing).
