The Dressage Selection Panel has amended the WEG 2018 selection process to further enhance the opportunity for all combinations to achieve the best possible results in the lead up to WEG 2018.

Section 4 regarding the Preliminary Selection Period has been updated to the following:

“The Preliminary Selection Period (1 July 2017 to 30 April 2018) required combinations to obtain scores of 69% or above from the Grand Prix test at a minimum of two CDI*** or above level competitions, with at least one score to have been obtained in 2018 (the “Preliminary Qualifying Scores”).

The Preliminary Selection Period is now extended to permit those combinations yet to achieve both Preliminary Qualifying Scores to obtain a second Preliminary Qualifying Score in the period up to 15 July 2018. Athletes may use shows that are also listed as Nominated Events to secure their second Preliminary Qualification Score under this clause.”
