Tom McDermott enjoys great start to US campaign
Young Australian showjumper Tom McDermott has enjoyed a great start to his campaign in the US, placing second with Alpha Activity in the $50,000 US Equiline Grand Prix at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.
Tom enjoyed further success to start the year off Palm Beach, winning an earlier class with Alpha Activity and a 1.40m speed class with Yalambi’s Harvard.
There are is a number of Aussies showjumping currently in the US gaining international experience, including James Arkins and Maleah Lang McMahon among others. The Aussie contingent now heads to the Ocala Winter Spectacular, which you can follow here. Already, James Arkins and Eurostar have placed second in a 1.30m opening class with plenty more action still to come over the next few days.
